Northwest Glass Quest

The Northwest Glass Quest returns February 13–22, 2026, celebrating its 17th year as a beloved winter tradition in Camano Island and Stanwood. This free, self-guided event invites participants to explore local businesses and approved public spaces while searching for handcrafted glass art. No registration is required. During the ten-day event, participants look for 3-inch plastic clue balls hidden throughout the community. Clue balls may be lightly camouflaged but are always visible using eyesight alone. Participants never move merchandise, disturb vegetation, or search in unsafe or restricted areas. When a clue ball is found, the participant is awarded a handcrafted glass ball. Glass balls are created by four professional glass artists, with certificated pieces including artist documentation. Clues may be shared but are optional, encouraging wandering and discovery at each participant’s own pace.
