Mukilteo is located on the shores of Puget Sound and offers rustic Northwest beauty and a variety of activities for all types of travelers. Outdoor activities include the beach, parks, hiking and mountain biking trails, and a dog park. Four top Aviation museums provide inspiration in all weather. 

A waterfront community, situated on a peninsula, Mukilteo is 26 miles north of Seattle, and has ferry service to and from Whidbey Island (Mukilteo/Clinton). With views of the Olympic Mountains to the west, Mt. Baker and the Cascade Mountains stretching to the northeast, visitors will appreciate the unique vantage point where the sea, islands and mountains converge.

Mukilteo is the home to the historic 1906 Mukilteo Light Station, located within Lighthouse Park. The park offers many amenities including an accessible beach with fire pits, picnic area, playground and boat launch. Visitors can tour the Mukilteo Lighthouse in Summer months as well as hold special events on the Lighthouse grounds.

Mukilteo has quaint shopping areas, restaurants, museums, parks, hiking trails, sports/recreation facilities, hotels, bed and breakfasts as well as open spaces for outdoor fun.
